Many people think that making a will is just like giving an invitation to death. I don’t know who has embedded this superstitious thought in the minds of people but it is quite true that people mostly don’t like preparing a will, thinking that they get closer and closer to death right from the date of creation of their will. This is the present scenario in most of the homes in England. Approximately, Six out of every ten people in the UK fail to make a will, keeping this thought in their minds, which leads to clash and quarrels among the family members.
The famous saying, Where there’s a will there’s a way suits well in this case. If you have a will, you do not have to worry about your belongings any more as you will have an idea about who is going to take care of your property and your family members after you. Now you may think that What if I don’t make a will? Well, here are a few points which will make you think once again about making a will,
1. Without insurance, you will not know who will take care of your children.
2. Insurance will help you to choose a person by yourself as a caretaker or guardian of your belongings until your own children get mature enough to handle all your property.
3. You can also mention the name of the person, whom you would not like to hand over your property.
4. You will have an option regarding selection of person for dictating the future of your children.
After going through all these points, I am sure you must have started thinking about creating a will. It is not necessary for a person to be old to create a will. Even youngsters can do that as death never comes to old people alone.
